(Flemington, NJ September 27, 2008) Throughout the afternoon of September 27, 2008, Roman Jewelers hosted a special showing of the brand new Lamborghini LP560-4 for their customers at Renaissance Plaza. Visitors had a chance to take a close look at this luxurious new sports car.
The LP560-4 is so named for its more powerful engine, a new direct-injection 5.2-liter V10 that makes 552 horsepower, and its permanent four-wheel drive. Lamborghini says the addition of nearly 40 hp and a reduction in weight help trim 0-60-mph acceleration to less than 3.7 seconds. Top speed is 202 mph.
The front end of the Gallardo has been resculpted, with larger air intakes providing additional cooling. Headlights combine bi-xenon lamps and LED running lights. The rear end also has been redesigned, drawing on styling cues from earlier Lamborghinis, including the fabled Miura. The car for this exhibit was supplied by Bergen County Lamborghini.
Customers were also invited to a cocktail reception in the store with hors d’oeuvres supplied by Dora’s Restaurant, which offers fine Italian cuisine in Clinton, NJ, and cocktails by Vodka Perfect.
Roman Jewelers is a family owned and operated store with locations in Flemington and the Bridgewater Commons Shopping Mall in Bridgewater. Roman Jewelers specializes in custom jewelry design, fine jewelry including diamond and bridal jewelry, and offers a wide selection of Swiss watches. Smiley Webb asked:
The high performance Lamborghini sports car is very popular for its aggressive look and speed. Lamborghini produces the world’s best and exciting sports cars. Some of the best known Lamborghini S.P.A. models are the Diablo, the Countach, the Gallardo and the Murcielago.
In 1963 Ferrucio Lamborghini founded the car company and located his factory in an Italian village Sant’Agata Bolognese. Though initially he was a tractor manufacturer, he developed interest in sports cars and after seeing high performance cars like Ferraris and Maseratis he built his own sports car the Lamborghini. Lamborghini, an independent Company after becoming bankrupt in 1978 was bought by Chrysler and became a subsidiary of German Audi AG in the year 1998.
Murcielago R-GT’s Le Mans version is considered as the fastest Lamborghini with 370 km/h. speeds . The Murcielago LP640 is considered as the fastest street model from Lamborghini with 340 km/h. speeds. Both Lamborghini models have V12 engine and are above 6000 cc. The old models of Lamborghini like the Diablo, the Countach and now the current model Murcielago have the familiar scissor doors rotating forward and up on hinges near the front door. Till 1989 all the Lamborghini models were produced with at least a V8 engine. Most of the Lamborghini models have the legendary V12 engine, the new model Gallardos have V10 engines. A low stance of the Lamborghini car has increased aerodynamic qualities with big tires digging into tarmac. The qualities of Lamborghini make it a perfect performance car. Driving a Lamborghini is like driving an F-1 race car and no special training is required. Though a Lamborghini is costly, still many people enjoy the thrill in its unforgettable driving experience with pure power and speed on race tracks or highway. The car has superb acceleration, high performance through the turns and runs in a safe environment.
Lamborghini Mucealago, named after a bull, has special features with 640 BHP, 6.5 l V12 engine, 665 Nm torque and a 4 wheel drive. The car reaches 100 km/hr. within 3.4 seconds and when the foot is kept on the gas pedal, this car will go non stop at 340 km/h. The 12 cylinder engine has a gas tank which can carry 100 liters. The traditionally designed car has 2 doors, 2 seats coupe and mid mounted engine. Gear box is placed in the front with optimal weigh distribution 42% front and 58% rear with special effects on braking, handling and traction. The carbon fiber body ensures the security of Lamborghini with roof, steel doors, tubular frame made of steel alloy and structural parts made of carbon fiber. Power vacuum, ventilated discs, aluminium alloy calipers, carbon ceramic brakes with front rear 6 piston break calipers are the salient specifications of the car.
Lamborghini Gallardo is considered the world’s tenth fastest car. This entry level car is the first of its kind with a huge Lamborghini V10 engine producing 520 horsepower. The engine takes 13.65 seconds to go from a speed of 0 to 100 km per hour. The Gallardo also takes 4 seconds, to go from 0 - 60 mph making it a faster model than the Murcielago.

Paul Fitzgerald asked:
Thousands of sites that come up with the list of the world’s top sports and exotic cars almost always come up with the makes by Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Jaguar, and BMW. And it is but completely understandable why these brands get on the list. Their cars, by far, are one of the meanest and toughest rides in the market. Furthermore, these are car models with style and substance. After all, who hasn’t turned their heads to a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren or a Lamborghini?
But the question is, why bother knowing the best cars when the common man can’t afford it. True, while these rides offer you the best, they’re price tags are certainly not the best for your bank accounts either. So most of us just shake our heads at our crazy dreams of driving a Pontiac or a Thunderbird down the glitzy Las Vegas strip. Then we move along in our day-to-day sedans and forget about living a high roller’s life for a day.
The thing is, the idea of driving a sports car or an exotic car is entirely possible. And here in Las Vegas, where “impossible” is a word that is hardly ever used, you can conquer the streets in your own exotic or sports car. Even if you can’t afford one, you can still always rent one. Sports car rentals and exotic car rentals in Las Vegas give you that option. You can take a pick from a diverse fleet of sports car rentals that can cater to preferences that range from sleek to wild.
Pulling up in the Gold Nugget or the Bellagio in a red-hot Ferrari will earn you glances and even a hot date. Or complement the upscale ambiance of the Venetian with your stylish and perfectly gleaming Jaguar. This is Las Vegas. Here, there is no such thing as too much. It is a fantasy existing in the real world. And it is here for you, for the taking.
You can never go wrong with making an entrance or an exit in your sports car rental. Yeah, sure, the experience is just temporary. But the memories of the thrill and the extravagance of it is something that you cannot forget.
And if choosing the right ride for you is such a chore (or a struggle) to do - so many cars, so less of a time. Most exotic and sports car rentals here in Las Vegas give you the chance to drive all of their models by allowing you to rent a different model each time.
Now you know you have an alternative to buying. You don’t have to throw away those sports car dreams. And because you now know, you no longer have an excuse to procrastinate about getting yourself a ride on the charmed side of life. You no longer have an excuse to not enjoy and have fun. Come to Vegas, and fulfill those dreams of being a king (or a queen) for a day or two.

Frank Collins asked:
The most powerful production car made is the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. Moreover, it is American-made and is able to beat Ferrari’s and Lamborghinis. This $105,000, 2009 Corvette has a 638-horsepower motor which gives off an aura to those around it. The zero-to-60 time achieved in 3.4 seconds beats the $1 million Ferrari Enzo. The Vette’s rear brakes are similar to those on a $1.6 million Bugatti Veyron. Many onlookers do not often know the performance because it resembles its’ humbler regular coupe version. However, once you drive it, you will know the difference right away. It is a super exotic car that masks itself with Chevy’s bodywork.
Besides it being very recognizable, not much is shared with its basic cousin unless it is the interior, engine block and springs. Most noticeably, is the supercharger on the hood. On the outside, the ZR1 utilizes the 2006 Z06 body casing with even more light weight aluminum and high-tech body construction. The Z06 has a standard steel and fiberglass body. To compensate for the added weight from the supercharger, larger wheels and upgraded brakes, the roof is made of carbon-fiber material. Although, the weight distribution is better than that of the Lamborghini Murclielago and the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
Though the whole ZR1 concept seems to drive infinite without stopping, it is surely does stop from the huge Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes decrease speed as if they were rewinding a tape. So is the ZR1 the best thing besides apple pie? Well, of course not. It really deserves an interior design compatible with a $100,000 car, mainly one without a cheap chevy model’s steering wheel. By having 638 horsepower most who drive it need to try and let it run freely .The all new herculean ZR1 is considered the more beguiling because it is so refined — a quality few people associate with Corvettes. Though not perfect, the ZR1 is the most perfect ’Vette yet, and everyone can get behind that.

Who would not take notice of the impressive Lamborghini Bruce Wayne drives whenever he’s not driving his Bat mobile or any of his Bat-vehicles? This exotic two door, two seater coupe is designed by Luc Donckerwolke and produced by Italian car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Its creation was to commemorate the company’s 40th year of operation and only 50 special edition units were built in 2003.
The Murcielago Roadster was introduced in 2004 for the 2005 model year and made its on-screen debut in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, with Christian Bale as the caped crusader, Batman. Having a 6.2 L version of the Lamborghini V12 engine, the Murcielago Roadster kicks off 580 horsepower. This sports car can be equipped with either a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed robotized e-gear system and has the acceleration speed of 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, reaching the maximum speed of 320 km/h.
The term Murcielago means “bat” in Spanish, making it a suitable car for a Superhero disguised as the nocturnal flying mammal. Moreover, the car’s scissor-opening doors pretty much resembles a bat spreading its wings, or the superhero for that matter.
In 2008, another Lamborghini Murcielago made an iconic appearance in yet another Batman movie bearing the title “Dark Knight.” Alongside Batman’s upgraded equipments, Bruce Wayne now drives a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Coupe. This supercar was introduced in 2006 for 2007 model year.
Powered by a 6.5 L version of the Lamborghini V12, kicking off an impressive 640 horsepower at 8,000 rpm, accelerating from 0 to 62m/hr in 3.4 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of over 200m/hr. Now, that is unbelievable! But somehow, Lamborghini has made it possible. And what’s more amazing is that despite its whopping power, this exotic car passed all European and American law regarding exhaust fumes. Of course, that was made possible by thorough modifications of the engine and exhaust system made by the research and development team of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
And like its predecessors, the Murcielago LP640 has a permanent four-wheel drive, based on the dependable Lamborghini Viscous Traction System. Driving, handling, and stability at extreme speed are enhanced by new stabilizers and springs, as well as modified damper which is controlled electronically.
Of course, this high powered machine comes with an equally top grade security system including a reliable and larger dual circuit brake system equipped with an anti-blocking system, having an electronic brake control as well as traction control.
The list of the enhanced features of this exhilarating machine could go on forever. However, Lamborghini Murcielagos can only belong to a privileged few. Just like any other Lamborghini’s, production of these super cars are limited, thus, making it more appealing for those who can afford. But driving one is not limited to those who can afford to purchase one. There are several car rentals in Las Vegas , New York , Milan , Monaco , Australia , and in some selected Asian countries.

Jaco asked:
This supercar debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show.
Rumoured to be the most expensive and most powerful in the Lamborghini range to date, this one will leave a slight dent in one’s pocket - in the region of about one million euros.
The official press release stated that only 20 would be built, but rumours later surfaced that the total number could be 100.
The exterior styling was inspired by the F-22 Raptor. Even the interior looks like an airplane cockpit - (See pictures) Apparently the designers were taken specially to inspect the actual exterior of an F-22 Raptor fighter jet, before coming up with the design. Most of the mechanics, including the engine, have been taken directly from the Murciélago LP640.
Initial reports suggest the 6.5 litre V12 may receive a power boost of approximately 15 kilowatts (20 horsepower), and this brings the new ouput close to 490 kW (660 horsepower). Yet in spite of this, and the car’s carbon fibre components, the Reventón manages to accelerate to 100 KPH (62 MPH) in the same time as the Murciélago LP640 (3.4 seconds)
The Reventón has been named after a fighting bull in line with the Lamborghini tradition. The car’s namesake, owned by the Don Rodriguez family, is best known for killing famed bullfighter Felix Guzman in 1943

Anthony Fontanelle asked:
The Lamborghini Gallardo is a sports car built by Lamborghini. It was introduced in 2004 as a new entry in Lamborghini lineup of racers. It was intended to rival the Ferrari F430. The name was derived from the Spanish breed of fighting bull named Gallardo. This means gallant in Spanish and striking in from an Italian language.
Most Lamborghini models are sold in a limited number. The Gallardo is the most produced model as of this moment with 5,000 units built in the first three years. It is a cheaper version of the famous and more powerful Lamborghini Murcielago
It’s been made in five variants. The Spyder model of the Gallardo was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006. In late 2005, the Gallardo SE (Special Edition) was introduced. The Gallardo Nera (Special Edition) was introduced at Paris Motor Show. Only 185 units of the Gallardo Nera will be produced and 60 are for the American market. A special version of the Gallardo, dubbed the Superleggera was launched at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show. And the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 which was revealed at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show.
As of March 2008, the Gallardo is the only model to use the Lamborghini V10 engine. It uses 520 horsepower, 5.0 liter V-10 engine. The V-10 is linked to a 6 speed manual gearbox, or optional 6-speed automatic, and permanent 4 wheel drive with viscous traction. According to Lamborghini, its acceleration can reach up to 100 kilometers per hour in only 3.95 seconds and it has a top speed of 196 mph.
The Gallardo leaves the impression of being one of the sexiest sports cars on the market. The car certainly looks fantastic with its auto parts and can turn heads almost off their necks. This two-seater car measures 4.34 meters in length, 1.90 meters in width and a mere 1.16 meters in height. It weighs in dry at 1410 kilograms. Its lightweight is due to the extensive use of Superman-hard but lightweight carbon fiber. Most exterior components have been replaced with lighter-weight polycarbonate which then reduces the original with 126 pounds.
Modern car-building techniques have made the car surprisingly comfortable and luxurious. This car carries a warm welcome with its handsome interior furnished in rich leather. The position of the seats is very low but it provides head and leg room enough for a mid-six-footer.
Standard features include automatic climate control, power windows and door locks, power-adjustable leather seating, a CD player with two auxiliary audio inputs, an adjustable leather-wrapped steering wheel, and electrically folding outside mirrors.
Overall, reviewers describe the 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo as a truly a world-class sports car with a very attractive image and a mind-blowing speed.

Benjamin Hudson asked:
What’s in a Lambo that can arouse emotional reactions and invoke a cosmos of images? Is it the Lamborghini’s razor-sharp headlights, long edgy lines of body work, deep side air intakes or maybe the fact that it is a luxury car that makes it a wonderful sight to behold?
A rental company in Washington, DC is giving everybody (but basically those who can afford only) the chance to drive a Lamborghini Gallardo. Capital Dream Cars will soon have the Lamborghini as part of their rental fleet. Oh yes, believe it or not the Capital Dream Cars, Washington, DC’s premier exotic car rental service is happy to announce that the Lamborghini Gallardo is the latest addition to its fleet of world-class rental automobiles.

Whether you want a coupe or convertible, a manual, semi-automatic or automatic transmission, we have a dream vehicle for every preference, season and occasion.”
The Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo has a design inspired by modern jet fighters. The Lamborghini Gallardo is a muscular car that possesses dynamic styling and performance. The Lamborghini Gallardo is called SantAgata’ raging bull and it’s because of its 5.0 liter, V10 engine that produces 500 horsepower and sprints from zero to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Despite its power some people who have already tested to drive a Gallardo claimed that it is smooth.
As expected from a Gallardo its interior is sleek black which Motor Trend magazine describes as “the best cabin ever bolted and stitched into a Lamborghini…an exotic-car cockpit that you’ll actually want to ride in.” it is equipped with power seats, on-board computer, heated seats/floor mats/exterior mirrors, coming home function, silver brake calipers, and 19” alloy wheels.

Andrew Christian asked:
The Italian postal service will issue a commemorative stamp dedicated to the legendary Lamborghini sportscar and the first stamps will be sold in the car’s home town of Sant’Agata Bolognese, near Bologna.
The 85-euro-cent stamp will feature the Lamborghini logo with its golden bull on a black shield in a shape which recalls the badge on the nose of carmaker’s classic Lamborghini Miura model, which was produced from 1966 to 1973.
The issuing of the stamp is part of the initiative by the postal service to celebrate Italy’s best known products and achievements.
Lamborghini was founded in 1963 by the tractor manufacturer Ferruccio Lamborghini and quickly became one of the main rivals to Ferrari.
Although still considered a unique Italian sportscar, the Lamborghini has had a number of foreign owners in the past 30 years, including Chrysler, and is currently owned by Volkswagen subsidiary Audi. However,it is still built outside Bologna.[Source 4wheelsblog.com]
